The network is the foundation of everything
When the network falters, everything falters: email, telephony, the till, the cameras. Yet in many businesses the network was installed once and never looked at again. Devices are connected that nobody recognises any more, the guest network shares the same network as the accounts department, and the router still runs on the provider's default settings.
We design networks that suit your building and the way you work. With separate segments (VLANs) for staff, guests, cameras and telephony. With a firewall that is closed by default and only opens what is needed. And with Wi-Fi that covers the whole building without devices getting in each other's way.
After that, we stay involved. We keep the equipment up to date, monitor connections and certificates, and see it when an access point or switch fails, often before anyone in the office notices.

What good network management gives you
Separate networks
Guests on Wi-Fi, but nowhere near your files. Cameras and printers on their own segment, so a single weak spot does not open up your entire network.
A firewall that is right
Only what is needed is open, management is not reachable from the internet, and admin interfaces have valid certificates.
Safe home working
A VPN connection to the office, so home workers can safely reach internal systems without opening ports.

Why MikroTik and UniFi?
We deliberately work with a small number of brands that we know inside out. MikroTik offers professional-grade routers and firewalls at a reasonable price, and can be configured in great detail. Ubiquiti UniFi is strong in Wi-Fi and switches with central management. Together they make a network that is reliable and stays easy to manage.

Can you take over our existing network?
Yes. We first map what is in place and how it is configured. Then we propose what needs to change and what can stay.
What is a VLAN and do I need one?
A VLAN splits your network into separate parts, for example for guests, cameras and staff. We recommend it for almost every business with guest Wi-Fi or cameras.
Can you connect two buildings?
Yes, with a VPN over the internet, or with a point-to-point wireless link if there is line of sight between the buildings.
What does network management cost?
We charge installation and changes by the hour (€93 per hour excl. VAT) or for a fixed quote. Ongoing management is covered by a maintenance plan.
