Cyber security for SMEs in The Hague

Practical security that suits your business: from an initial security check to email, network and backups that are in order, and help if something does go wrong.

Security without the fuss

Most attacks on small businesses are not sophisticated. A hijacked email account without two-factor authentication, an invoice that seems to come from a supplier, a router with outdated software or a backup that has not worked for months. It is exactly these basics that decide whether an attack means an annoying day or a week of downtime.

We start with a security check: we go through your accounts, email, devices, network and backups and list the risks, in plain language and in order of importance. You then decide what you want us to fix.

For the scans and reporting we work together with our partner SecuroNova, which specialises in cyber security for SMEs. They map the risks with, among other things, vulnerability scans and a Microsoft 365 check; we resolve the findings and keep things in order afterwards. That way you get an independent view and one party that does the work.

Because we also manage your Microsoft 365, network and workstations ourselves, security never becomes a one-off project. We keep updates, settings and backups current at all times, so the level of protection does not slowly slip.

What we take care of

  • Security scan and report, in partnership with SecuroNova
  • Two-factor authentication (MFA) on all accounts
  • Email security: SPF, DKIM, DMARC and anti-phishing
  • Firewall and network segmentation
  • Updates and antivirus on all devices
  • Backups that are actually tested
  • Preparation for ISO 27001 and NIS2
  • Help after a hack or data breach

What we focus on

The measures that remove the most risk, at a reasonable price.

Accounts

Two-factor authentication for everyone, no shared passwords, and former employees locked out immediately.

Email

Your domain protected against spoofing, and filters against phishing and fake invoices. More under Microsoft 365.

Network

A firewall that is closed, separate networks for guests and cameras, and management that cannot be reached from the internet. More under network management.

Devices

Laptops, PCs and servers updated and secured automatically, with encryption where needed.

Backup

A backup that is kept separate from your network and that we regularly restore as a test.

Staff

Short, practical guidance so your team recognises a suspicious email and knows what to do next.

Been hacked or received a suspicious email?

Call us straight away on +31 70 744 1745. We help you get a hijacked account back, shut off access, find out what happened and advise on the next steps, such as reporting a data breach.

After that, we make sure the same mistake cannot happen again.

Preparing for ISO 27001 and NIS2

Since 15 August 2026 the Dutch Cybersecurity Act (Cyberbeveiligingswet) has been in force, the Dutch implementation of the European NIS2 directive. Organisations it covers must be able to show that they take measures against cyber risks, and must also assess the risks at their suppliers. As a result, smaller businesses that supply those organisations are increasingly asked questions about their security. Many businesses also choose ISO 27001 to demonstrate their information security.

We help you get there step by step. If an external auditor has written a report, or a SecuroNova scan has produced findings, we turn the technical findings into a concrete plan and carry out the measures: access management and MFA, logging, backup, update policy, network segmentation and Microsoft 365 security. We record what has been done, so that at the next audit you can show that everything is in order.

We do not certify or carry out the final assessment ourselves; that remains the job of an independent party. That keeps a fair separation between who implements the measures and who assesses them.

What we do for you

  • Turn audit findings into a plan
  • Carry out the technical measures
  • Record what was done, as evidence for the audit
  • Help answer customers' questions about your security
  • Ongoing management, so the level is maintained

Frequently asked questions about cyber security

Is my business really of interest to hackers?

Yes. Many attacks are automated and hit anyone with a weak spot, regardless of company size. Small businesses are often more vulnerable precisely because the basics are not in order.

What does a security check cost?

That depends on the number of users and systems. You get a fixed price in advance. Follow-up work is charged at €93 per hour excl. VAT or within a maintenance plan.

What should I do if I think I have been hacked?

Call us straight away. Do not start changing things yourself and do not switch off a suspicious computer; do pull out the network cable or turn off Wi-Fi. We will help you from there.

Isn't an antivirus program enough?

No. Antivirus is one layer. Most damage is done through hijacked accounts and fake emails, and only a combination of measures protects against that.

Can you certify us for ISO 27001 or NIS2?

No. Certification and assessment are carried out by an independent party. We prepare you and resolve the technical findings from audits, so you go into the assessment well prepared.

How secure is your business?

Request a security check. You get a clear overview of the risks and what it costs to fix them.
