Microsoft 365 management and security for businesses
Email, Teams and SharePoint that are set up securely and stay that way, from the first migration to day-to-day management.
Microsoft 365 only works well when it is set up well
Microsoft 365 is quick to buy, but the default settings were not made for your business. We regularly see environments without two-factor authentication, with former employees who still have access, and with email domains that are easy to spoof. That last one is exactly how a lot of phishing and invoice fraud begins. Read more about the bigger picture under cyber security.
We set up your environment following Microsoft's own security recommendations, matched to your licences and the way you work. After that we manage users, licences and settings, so everything stays in order as people join or leave.
Still using separate mailboxes with another provider, or files on an old server? We migrate email, calendars and files to Microsoft 365 and set up SharePoint and Teams so that everyone knows where everything is.
What we take care of
- Two-factor authentication (MFA) for all users
- SPF, DKIM and DMARC against spoofed email
- Protection against phishing and impersonation
- Setting up SharePoint and Teams
- Migrating email and files
- Licence and user management
What we look at in Microsoft 365
Signing in
Two-factor authentication for everyone and no shared accounts. The most effective thing you can do against hijacked accounts.
Your domain protected with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, and filters that stop emails pretending to be from your director or a supplier.
Files
A clear structure in SharePoint and Teams, with permissions per department. No more loose files on laptops and USB sticks.
Joiners and leavers
New colleagues ready to go straight away, leavers locked out immediately. Mailbox and files are kept.
Licences
Only pay for what you use. We check regularly whether your licences still fit.
Backup
Microsoft keeps deleted data, but only for a limited time. A separate backup of email and files stops you losing anything for good.
Frequently asked questions about Microsoft 365
Do I need a backup of Microsoft 365?
We recommend it. Microsoft makes sure the service stays available, but deleted or encrypted data can only be recovered for a limited time. A separate backup covers that.
What is DMARC and why does it matter?
DMARC tells other mail servers what to do with email that claims to come from your domain but does not. Without DMARC, criminals find it much easier to send email that appears to come from your business.
Can you move our email over from another provider?
Yes. We migrate mailboxes, calendars and contacts, and plan the switch so you do not lose any email.
Do you also supply the licences?
We can, but there is no need. We can also manage your existing licences.
How secure is your Microsoft 365?
We check your environment and give you an overview of the most important improvements.
